“Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s spirit dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 NRSV

What does it mean to be God’s temple? To me, it means that I am a sanctuary to those in need. I can offer comfort and healing even outside of the walls of the church. I’m a portable temple that can meet people where they are, just as God meets us where we are. Take some time today to reflect on how you can be a blessing to others.

Dear God, thank You for always meeting me where I am, no matter how far I stray. Help guide my heart today to love people without judgment and to treat them all with compassion and respect. Help me use Your spirit and be a blessing to others. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
