“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all consolation, who consoles us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to console those who are in any affliction with the consolation with which we ourselves are consoled by God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 NRSV

When you are down, it is crucial to reach out for support. If you bottle everything inside, it festers and poisons you, and things don’t get better.

Who is the person you rely on?

You also always have assurance that God and Jesus are there to help with your burdens.

On the other side of this, do you support those people in your life? Even if you think you can’t, you have a story to share that may help someone else. We all need one another for support. This is loving your neighbors.

Dear God, thank You for always being there to console me and putting people in my life who also support me. Please open my eyes and heart so I can bless and help others. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
