“If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given to you.” James 1:5 NRSV

I like to think that I know it all and never need help. Not from anyone and not even from God. The truth is, I often get stuck, and I need to humble myself and ask for guidance from God. What is His plan for me? What path is He asking me to follow? What tools has he given me for my journey? How do I escape this situation and get back on track?

All I have to do is ask.

Dear God, You are more than willing to share Your wisdom with me. Please help me to be quiet and listen to Your voice so that I understand how to use Your wisdom and share it with others. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
